Animal Institute's Wildlife Clinic
The Animal Institute is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit animal protection organization in Cobb County, Georgia U.S.A. This Wildlife Clinic website is a production of the Animal Institute, and has replaced our former Animal Institute website as the organization's center of gravity. The Animal Institute's Wildlife Clinic is a comprehensive responsive educational website about 'all things wildlife'. It provides education, practical guidance, and hands-on intervention instructions for wildlife questions, concerns, conflicts, and animal emergencies. It is a free public service supported by volunteers and charitable tax-deductible donations.

Chris Benson
Chris Benson is the Cofounder and Managing Director of the Animal Institute (opens in a new tab), and Managing Editor of this Wildlife Clinic website. As the Managing Editor, everything published here is approved by Chris Benson before going live.
In addition to being a wildlife educator, he is an experienced wildlife rehabilitator who is licensed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (GA DNR), and is also certified by GA DNR for "rabies vector species" (RVS).

This is not a clinic facility
Wildlife Clinic is a publication. We do not accept animals, we do not treat animals, and we cannot come and collect one. If an animal needs care it needs a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, and the fastest route to one is the found-an-animal flow.
Photographs and rights
Every photograph here is credited under the picture, and the credit links to the terms it is used under. That is not decoration. Most freely available photography is licensed on condition that the attribution stays visible, so a credit that went missing would make the use unlicensed.
Photographs credited to a Creative Commons or public domain licence may be reused on those licences' own terms, which the credit links to. Photographs marked all rights reserved may not. Those are the photographer's own work, published here by permission, and permission to appear on this site is not permission to be taken from it. If you want to use one, ask the photographer named in the credit.
Photographers keep their copyright, but grant the Animal Institute's Wildlife Clinic permission to publish it on this website and its newsletter, credited to you - the copyright holder.
