Big brown bat
Eptesicus fuscus — Bats
A robust, adaptable bat that often shares buildings with people while feeding heavily on beetles and other night insects.
Do not handle this animal with bare hands, and do not let it near a pet. It is a rabies-vector species, which changes both the procedure and who is permitted to take it.
