Coyote
Canis latrans — Foxes, coyotes and wolves
A highly adaptable canid that now fills much of the medium-sized predator role across North America.
Do not handle this animal with bare hands, and do not let it near a pet. It is a rabies-vector species, which changes both the procedure and who is permitted to take it.

Tell us where you are — your state, then your county — and we will list the people licensed to take the coyote there, nearest to you first. Rehabilitators are licensed by their own state, which is why we ask.
