Eastern small-footed bat
Myotis leibii — Bats
The smallest myotis bat in the East, black-masked, and a sleeper in rock cracks and talus.
Do not handle this animal with bare hands, and do not let it near a pet. It is a rabies-vector species, which changes both the procedure and who is permitted to take it.
