Southeastern myotis
Myotis austroriparius — Bats
A woolly little bat of southern caves, bridges and hollow trees, unusual among its relatives for having twins.
Do not handle this animal with bare hands, and do not let it near a pet. It is a rabies-vector species, which changes both the procedure and who is permitted to take it.
